Wheatstone Project Marine Facilities

The site of the Wheatstone Project LNG Plant is located at Ashburton North, 12 kilometres west of the town of Onslow, Western Australia. The project consists of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) production trains (initial capacity to produce 8.9 million tonnes of LNG per annum), a domestic gas (DOMGAS) processing plant and condensate processing facilities with supporting facilities, product storage, Product Loading Facility (PLF), Material Offloading Facility (MOF) and other infrastructure.

BAM International, in joint venture with Clough, has undertaken the design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and testing of the Marine Facilities (Product Loading) and Tug Berths for Chevron Australia Pty Ltd (Owner) and Bechtel (Contractor). The Product Loading Platform (1250 ton) was fabricated in Batam, Indonesia. Tebeton has supported BAM with the work preparations and engineering related to the load-out, transportation and installation of the Product Loading Platform.
