Tanjung Priok 740MW Power Plant

Tanjung Priok is a Gas Fired Combined Cycle power plant project consisting of two modern gas turbines and generators in combination with one steam turbine. Located within the confines of an existing power station north east of the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, the power plant delivers 740 MW of electricity to the national grid.

The coastal region of Jakarta where the plant is located is very low lying and suffers ground subsidence. To counter this feature the new power plant was designed to be constructed on a two meter high embankment in combination with improvement of the existing soil condition. All foundations are supported by precast driven piles.

Tebeton supported Mitsubishi Heavy Industries with the on-site supervision of the civil scope of works in order to ensure that the project specific targets for safety, progress and quality were met.
